By accessing our Services, you confirm you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. The Services are intended for users who are at least 18 years old.
Our Services
The Beam allows registered users to send anonymous feedback requests to 3 or 5 friends and receive an AI-generated Mirror Report. Friends respond through a unique link without creating an account. All responses are processed by AI to ensure kind, growth-oriented language.
User Registration
You may be required to register to use the Services. You agree to keep your password confidential and are responsible for all activity under your account.
Purchases and Payment
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. All payments are in US dollars. We may change prices at any time.
Subscriptions
Your subscription will continue and automatically renew unless canceled. You can cancel at any time by logging into your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid term.
Prohibited Activities
You may not use the Services for any illegal purpose, to harass others, to submit hateful or harmful content, or to attempt to circumvent our security or AI systems.
AI Processing of Content
Friend responses are processed by AI to ensure kind, growth-oriented language before synthesis. By submitting a response, you consent to this AI processing. Raw responses are anonymized and never attributed to specific individuals.
Privacy
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy at getthebeam.com/privacy-policy.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States.

Age Attestation
By checking the age confirmation checkbox during registration, you provide a legally binding attestation that you are 18 years of age or older. If you provide false information regarding your age, you accept sole and complete legal liability for any consequences arising from your use of the Services. Empowering Expression LLC bears no responsibility for underage use where false age confirmation was provided. We reserve the right to terminate accounts where age misrepresentation is discovered.
Anonymous Friend Responses
Friend responses submitted through The Beam are stored in anonymized form. The Beam cannot and does not track, identify, or disclose which specific individual submitted any given response within a request. Once submitted, a friend's response cannot be attributed to any individual. You acknowledge that you are voluntarily soliciting honest feedback from people you trust, and that Empowering Expression LLC is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or emotional impact of those responses. The anonymity of responses is a permanent and irrevocable feature of the platform.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your Mirror Reports and associated friend responses are stored in your account until you choose to delete them. You may delete individual reports or your entire account at any time from the Settings page within the application. Account deletion is immediate and permanent. All associated data including friend responses, Mirror Reports, and personal information is deleted upon request and cannot be recovered after deletion. We do not retain backup copies of user data after a deletion request is processed.
Geographic Restriction
The Beam is intended for use exclusively within the United States. By using the Services, you confirm that you are accessing them from within the United States. Empowering Expression LLC makes no representation that the Services are appropriate, compliant, or available in any other jurisdiction. Use of the Services from outside the United States is at the user's sole risk, may violate local laws, and constitutes a violation of these Terms. We reserve the right to terminate accounts or block access from regions outside the United States at any time and without notice.
